Daniel Johnson Named Managing Director at Fiderion

NEW YORK, NY - (March 26, 2007)– Fiderion announced today that Daniel Johnson has joined the firm as a managing director based in the New York office.

Johnson has 10 years of experience in executive search, and was previously with Jamesbeck Global Partners in New York, a boutique retained executive search firm for the traditional and alternative investment management community. Previously he was an associate specializing in financial services at TMP Worldwide Executive Search, which he joined via the firm's acquisition of Johnson Smith & Knisley in 1998.

He began his career with Citicorp Venture Capital in New York where he spent two years and completed the corporate lending and analyst training program at Citigroup. Subsequently, he left Citicorp to found a service company dedicated to consumer products before joining the executive search industry.

Johnson received a B.A. in Political Science from California State University and a M.S. in Politics, Economics and Philosophy from Oxford University. In addition to teaching, he also has served on boards in both the higher education and non-profit sectors.

Fiderion was founded as a retained executive search boutique in 2002 by James B. Norton, III and has expanded to include three main practice areas: Financial Services Practice, Technology Industry Practice and Marketing Officer Practice. Prior to launching Fiderion, Norton worked in executive search for 30 years, most recently as managing director of the Americas Financial Services practice at Korn/Ferry International.
