Each step of our search process reinforces our commitment to exceptional client focus.
The basis of a successful search starts when we meet with the client to discuss their need.
- Many of our consultants are certified at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), which allows us to have a more consultative discussion with our clients around the necessary qualities for success in the context of your organization. Our approach helps dial in the right blend of soft skills required to assimilate into your organization.
- With the client, we identify the top 4 to 5 “must have” experiences you want this person to possess. Once we are aligned, every candidate is assessed according to the same set of qualities and experiences, so we are comparing apples-to-apples.
Large search firms typically begin a search by plowing through a large proprietary database of names to uncover who should be contacted for their search. They deal with certain constraints such as candidates in client companies that are off-limits, those who are part of another search, and pre-existing relationships.
We don’t assume our database includes the right candidate with the right background. Instead, we research the most current information from high-level industry sources, our own database of thousands of executives, and new tools such as online networking sites. Our proprietary software sifts the data and identifies relationships that we act on.
